Vi-Spring bedstead mattresses are designed for use on slatted bases or platform top divan bases. Should you wish to buy a bedstead or four poster from James Adam there are very few bedsteads that cannot take a sprung (shallow) divan set, so for the most part your choice can be from the full Vi-Spring range. A bedstead mattress on a platform or slatted base will be slightly firmer.
